Meghan Coyle joined the Nature Conservancy of Canada’s (NCC’s) Atlantic Region team in August 2016. She began her career with NCC as the development coordinator managing the Atlantic Region’s Leaders in Conservation program and planning regional events. In March 2021, she took on a new role as development officer, major gifts, to work more closely with our donors and supporters in all four Atlantic provinces.

Meghan is an animal and nature lover at heart! It brings her great pride to work with an organization conserving important lands and habitats for the betterment of both people and animals.

She grew up on Prince Edward Island and is an events management graduate from Holland College. She has worked with other charitable organizations, such as the PEI Parkinson’s Society and Big Brothers, Big Sisters PEI. Meghan is also a member of the New Brunswick Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.

Outside of work, Meghan can usually be found snuggled up with her fluffball of a cat, trying out a new recipe, reading, writing or attempting to knit. She enjoys hiking and snowshoeing while exploring her adopted home of New Brunswick. But in true PEI fashion, in the summer she loves to be near the water, listening to the waves crash, the birds sing and smelling the salt air.
