Jaimee Dupont Morozoff is the Nova Scotia program director for the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC). She has been with NCC for over 10 years and worked in Manitoba and Alberta prior to moving to Nova Scotia. She grew up in the middle of the boreal forest in northern Manitoba and gained an appreciation for nature from a young age. She has a bachelor’s degree in environmental science with a focus on forest ecology. For her master's of science in bioscience, technology and public policy, she studied the rare Poweshiek skipperling butterfly and how land management practices and policies impact the species that live in the tall grass prairie.

Jaimee is passionate about NCC's work across the country, from the Prairies to the Acadian forest (just don’t ask her to pick a favourite). Meeting with landowners is one of her favourite parts of the job. She also enjoys learning about the land's history and landowners' love for it, and working with them conserve it for future generations.

Jaimee has two young boys, two old labs and a husband at home to keep her busy. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring Nova Scotia’s natural areas, coastlines and local cuisine with her family, making soap and reading.
