11 a.m.-2 p.m.

We will be manually removing invasive plant species and garbage that are threatening the sensitive ecosystem at Gillies Grove Nature Reserve. Many of these invasive species, including periwinkle, lily-of-the-valley and Japanese-spurge have been introduced by organic waste being dumped in the forest. Physical activity will include walking approximately three kilometres on uneven terrain, bending, lifting and twisting. Lower impact activities will be accommodated upon request.
