Acting director of government relations and partnerships
Hubert Pelletier joined NCC in 2002. As acting director of government relations and partnerships, Hubert collaborates with a multidisciplinary team of 30 in the protection of Quebec’s sensitive natural habitats.

Marie-Andrée Boisvert joined the Nature Conservancy of Canada in 2022 and is a biologist and the director of the eastern Quebec area.

Carine Deland
Director of conservation
Carine joined the NCC team in 2011, keen to be involved in an organization active in conservation across Canada. She has since worked on a wide range of projects and was appointed director of conservation for NCC in Quebec in 2019.

Program director for western Quebec
Caroline Gagné has worked as a project manager at NCC since 2009 and as program director for western Quebec since 2017. She's responsible for the Ottawa and Gatineau valleys region.

Gwenaël Heyvang has been with the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) since 2006, and has been the securement and stewardship director in Quebec since 2017.

Kateri Monticone
Director Strategic Conservation and Innovation
Since 2008, she has successfully led a variety of conservation projects on private lands and coordinated the design of around 15 conservation plans. She carries out large-scale projects in collaboration with multiple key players in land use planning, such as the Ecological Corridors initiative and the Southern Laurentians Atlas.

As the NCC's Quebec Region communications and marketing manager since 2011, Elizabeth is responsible for designing, implementing, managing and evaluating the communications program for Quebec.

Jason Beaulieu is the GIS project managerfor the NCC’s Quebec Region. He is responsible for developing maps and tools to help with science and planning decision-making.

Camille, who is passionate about her adopted region, the Gaspé Peninsula, heads several coastal area conservation projects. As her projects often draw on local communities and municipalities, she is attentive to the needs of both humans and nature.

Passionate about nature and communication, Gabrielle spends a lot of time in the field and is particularly drawn to unique areas such as île-aux-Grues. She loves interacting with people and using her communication skills to get them interested in and connected to nature.

Securement coordinator
Catherine Collette-Hachey, who has a bachelor’s in biology from the University of Ottawa and a master’s in sustainable management of forest ecosystems from the Université du Québec à Montréal, started at NCC in 2016.

Pascal Côté holds a bachelor's degree in biology as well as a master's degree in environmental sciences, with a specialty in forest ecology, from the Université du Québec à Montréal.

Charles Dumont Malletteis a GIS (geographic information system) technician. He provides geomatics support to several projects in southern Quebec while ensuring that field applications are functional and efficient.

After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies and a master’s in biology from Université de Sherbrooke, Madelaine Proulx completed an internship at NCC in 2020 for a project in the northern Green Mountains.

Isabelle, who holds a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies and has been a project coordinator at NCC since January 2019. She is responsible for stewardship in the Northern Green Mountains.

A biologist with a master's degree in environment from the Université de Sherbrooke, Valérie René has been NCC's program coordinator for the natural areas of the Haut-Saint-Laurent and Richelieu-Yamaska since April 2017 and program coordinator since 2021.

Marie-Andrée Tougas-Tellier first started working with NCC as a science and stewardship assistant in 2010. After a short time away, she returned in 2014 to work with the team as a project manager.
