Gabrielle Cauchon-Déry has an integrated degree in natural and managed environments studies from Université Laval. She first joined the Nature Conservancy of Canada as a summer intern in 2012, and then returned in 2014 to become the project manager for the regions of Mauricie, Capitale-Nationale and Centre-du-Québec.

Passionate about nature and communication, Gabrielle spends a lot of time in the field and is particularly drawn to unique areas, such as île-aux-Grues. She loves interacting with people and using her communication skills to get them interested in and connected to nature. Gabrielle has several years of experience leading groups, providing interpretation, describing natural environments, and organizing events and activities. Thanks to her work experience, she has acquired expertise in the enhancement of natural environments and has developed related coordination, organization and communication skills.

Gabrielle loves news challenges and especially enjoys travelling to discover new unique natural environments. She has been to New Zealand, Peru and Costa Rica, among others.
