Science and conservation planning manager
Kateri Monticone is the science and conservation planning manager for the Nature Conservancy of Canada in Quebec.
Since 2008, she has successfully led a variety of conservation projects on private lands, including research, stewardship as well as enhancement activities, and secured properties of high ecological value. She also coordinates the design and implementation of conservation plans.
Kateri is a biologist by training and has a master’s degree in environmental science (2007) from the Université du Québec à Montréal. She also worked for two years as a researcher at the Centro de Investigaciones de Ecosistemas Costeros in Cuba (2004-2006).
