Marie-France Moquin, development director
With a bachelor’s degree in sociology and another in social work, Marie-France Moquin has shaped her professional career around various social causes. A nature enthusiast, in 2011 she took advantage of an opportunity to join the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) team in Quebec.
Marie-France is the development director for NCC's Quebec Region. She is responsible for planning, developing, structuring and managing the implementation and strategic evaluation of development and fundraising activities for major donations. In her interactions, she applies her remarkable listening skills to identify each person’s own philanthropic dream.
Marie-France enjoys taking on challenges. Along with cycling, skiing and hiking, her leisure activities include rowing on a dragon boat team for more than 10 years. In 2017, she was selected to be part of Canada’s national team for the dragon boat world championships in Kunming, China. She brings this same passion and determination to projects in her professional life.
