GIS & conservation data analyst
With a graduate degree in geographic information systems, Maude Benny-Dumont is an expert in spatial data management and thematic mapping. She joined the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) in the spring of 2014 as a geomatics specialist.
In her work, Maude aims to improve the use of computer-based tools for environmental management and our understanding of how conservation impacts the environment. Her role at NCC enables her to tackle the challenge of conserving ecosystems by helping provide staff access to properties and interpreting land-based data.
A motivated self-learner, Maude is an excellent photographer and skilled in communications and website management. She also has three years of experience in international development.
