Valérie Aubin, project coordinator
Valérie Aubin has a bachelor’s degree in biological and ecological sciences from the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières.
She has worked on the St. Lawrence River from 2012 to 2016 with the Comité ZIP Jacques-Cartier. During that time, she specialized in the issue of invasive exotic plants in wetland environments. Notably, Valérie conducted monitoring of flora at the provincial level and developed awareness-raising and control projects with different municipalities of the Montreal Metropolitan Community. She also has experience in guiding and interpretation, in characterizing natural environments, as well as in organizing events and activities.
Valérie joined the Nature Conservancy of Canada in 2016. She continues to work on the St. Lawrence on the enhancement of various islands, as well as projects on the Richelieu and the Green mountains, and assists Julien Poisson with his projects.
