Rebekah Neufeld

Manitoba Manager, Conservation Science and Planning

Rebekah Neufeld is the acting conservation science manager for the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) in Manitoba. She graduated from Brandon University with a bachelor of science degree in environmental science and a major in botany, and has over 10 years of field work experience. Rebekah has worked at NCC in various stewardship, science and engagement capacities since 2011 and has past experience conducting field research in Churchill and southern Manitoba as a research assistant at Brandon University.

Rebekah leads and coordinates the landscape-scale planning and monitoring activities of NCC Manitoba’s 10 Natural Area Conservation Plans, and manages the region’s natural area-based science and research initiatives. She has completed the Conservation Coaches Network coach training, and coordinates the use and continued integration of the Open Standards for the Practice of Conservation in NCC Manitoba’s adaptive management and planning frameworks.
