Give the gift of nature on your special day! You and your guests can contribute to the conservation of ecologically significant land across our beautiful country by supporting the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC).

Ways to give

Donations in lieu of wedding gifts

For the couple who has everything, ask your family and friends to make a donation to NCC to celebrate your special day.

Donations in lieu of table gifts

Instead of traditional wedding favours at the table, honour your family and friends with the gift of nature.

"Protecting the environment is a way of life for us. We wanted our donation to go towards a cause that not only protects animals, but...its entire habitat, especially and more specifically, its Canadian habitat.

Place cards provided by the Nature Conservancy of Canada were printed for us with our own personalized message inside indicating why we chose to make a donation to NCC.

We received many compliments on the fact that we chose to help protect our surrounding environment and they also mentioned how unique and creative the place cards were.

A donation in lieu of gifts was also done for my bridal shower (which was a surprise to me) and I was presented with a beautiful certificate that is now framed and on display in my house.

I feel comforted knowing that our donations are going to an extremely worthy cause and that there are efforts being made to protect our Canadian landscapes. We are consistently receiving updates from NCC showing how our money is helping."
