Staff at the Johnson’s Mills Interpretive Centre provide public education, monitor shorebirds and ensure that ecotourism is conducted in a manner that is not harmful to the birds. The Centre is open daily from July 4 to September 8, and interpreters are on hand to answer questions.

Visitors can call the centre at 506-379-6347 to enquire about high tide times and bird migration numbers. While observing shorebirds, visitors are encouraged to use viewing platforms, to walk softly, abstain from waving and shouting, drive slowly and quietly, and to not bring pets. Visitors are asked to stay off the beach during high tide.
