Happy New Year! Thanks to you 2009 was a great year for conservation! As outlined in our most recent annual report, in the last fiscal year we secured more than 42,000 acres (17,000 hectares) of ecologically sensitive land. Imagine an area 42 times the size of Stanley Park – that is the scale of our work this past year to conserve the land that sustains many of our most vulnerable species.
