Sights and Sounds of Brier Island
Help to preserve the beautiful home of many rare species of plants and animals!

Brier Island is renowned for its bird life and rare plant species, as well as its beautiful coastal views and island culture. Come join your fellow nature enthusiasts and get your hands dirty, while making a difference!
Join the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) for our Sights & Sounds of Brier Island event. This will be our 8th event and we are seeking volunteers to help with shore cleanup and trail maintenance. For this Conservation Volunteers event, we will be completing shore cleanup and trail maintenance on the 3.5-kilometre Brier Island Coastal Trail. A picnic lunch and snacks will be provided.

What to bring: Water, snacks, close-toed walking shoes, work gloves, rain gear (just in case!), layers of clothing, bug spray, sunscreen and a hat. NCC will provide all the required tools and equipment, as well as snacks and refreshments.
Trail difficulty: Moderate. Trail maintenance will require some strenuous physical labour but there will be tasks for people with a wide variety of physical abilities. People of all fitness levels are encouraged to participate in this event!
