Hannah Kienzle first joined the Nature Conservancy of Canada as an intern at the Johnson’s Mills Shorebird Reserve and Interpretive Centre. In April 2020, she returned to the Nature Conservancy of Canada as member of the PEI conservation team.

Hannah is involved with stewardship of PEI’s nature reserves and balances a diverse range of responsibilities, including property monitoring and field work, community outreach initiatives and volunteer support.

Originally from Truro, Nova Scotia, her passion for wildlife and conservation was fostered while studying ecology as an undergraduate at Mount Allison University. She then completed a graduate degree at the University of Calgary, where she explored the impacts of aquatic invasive species on native fish populations. Hannah is excited to contribute to the protection and celebration of PEI’s amazing natural landscapes.
