Teck

Teck, a leading resource company, has been a proud partner of the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) in British Columbia since 2003, backing conservation initiatives in the Rocky Mountain Trench and the Nicola Valley. In 2019, the company donated 225 hectares to become part of NCC’s Luke Creek Wildlife Corridor.

In 2022, Teck pledged $12 million to NCC’s Collaborative Conservation Impact Fund, with an annual commitment of $2 million over six years. This fund enables large-scale conservation projects in BC, in collaboration with governments, Indigenous communities and other industry players. By contributing to this fund, Teck is demonstrating its long-standing commitment to biodiversity and environmental stewardship. The company's goal is to contribute meaningfully to Canada’s pledge of protecting 25 per cent of our country’s lands and waters by 2025, and 30 per cent by 2030.

If your organization is interested in partnering with NCC, please contact us: corporate.giving@natureconservancy.ca.
