    The bur oak forest at The Keyhole (Nature Reserve) will link broader initiatives to protect the provincially rare bur oak trees and critical wetland habitat along the Wolastoq (St. John) River.

    The Meduxnekeag Watershed is one of the most significant riparian forest areas in the Maritimes, containing nearly half of New Brunswick's remaining Appalachian hardwood forest sites.
