Meg Lovett joined the Nature Conservancy of Canada's (NCC's) Manitoba Region as an intern in August 2020. As the conservation incentive program assistant, Meg assists with the research and development of an incentive program that will better protect and enhance species at risk on private landowners’ property.

Prior to joining the NCC team, Meg pursued her interest in sustainable land use through previous research opportunities with the university, including at the Land Use and Global Environment Lab and at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, and with the local land trust on southern Vancouver Island.

Outside of work, Meg enjoys continuing to explore the different landscapes of Manitoba.
