Andi McDonald

Andi McDonald is the senior development officer for the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) in Alberta. She works in fund development to help raise the funds that allows NCC to continue its work.

Andi joined NCC in April 2016. She spent her entire career working in the not-for-profit industry, but working for an environmental organization had always been on her bucket list as a personal passion.

She holds a BA in communications, a diploma in arts and cultural management, and a diploma in computer systems technology. Prior to coming to NCC, she worked as a fundraiser and manager for several non-profits.

Andi loves to hike, camp and explore all that Canada’s landscapes have to offer during the warmer months. When winter hits, she consumes all forms of media: written word, film and television, and music. She’s a bit of a pop culture nerd and a gaming aficionado. Her favourite species are any corvids, as she finds a kindred spirit with their loud chatter, attitude and adaptability.
