Lindsey Davidson

Lindsey Davidson is the Nature Conservancy of Canada’s (NCC’S) natural area manager for the Waterton Park Front in Alberta. Lindsey oversees the day-to-day management and stewardship of properties in the amazing and beautiful Waterton area and is committed to building and enhancing NCC’s relationships with the community.

Lindsey began her position with NCC in May 2022. She always wanted a career focused on building connections and stewarding natural habitat, which made NCC the obvious choice. Although new to her role, she is not new to the area, having spent seven years with the Municipal District of Pincher Creek within the Agriculture and Environmental Services Department. Lindsey holds a bachelor of science degree in agriculture from the University of Lethbridge and a diploma in animal health technology from Olds College.

Lindsey lives near Pincher Creek and feels right at home in the Waterton area, where she enjoys hiking, camping, horseback riding and appreciating the amazing fauna and flora of the region. Her favourite animal is elk, and she is grateful to have so many opportunities to see them while completing field work. Ravens are a close second as their cleverness and curiosity is always entertaining. She has a long list of favourite plants, but mariposa lilies and larch trees are at the top of it.
