Lindsey Ledene

Lindsey Ledene is the conservation coordinator for the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) in the Waterton Park Front. Lindsey helps with conservation agreement monitoring, field data entry, fence repairs and removals, weed pulls and meetings with leaseholders and landowners.

Lindsey started with NCC as a conservation technician intern in May 2019, becoming the conservation coordinator in October 2021. She joined NCC because her values and goals align with the organization. She believes it is essential to protect Canada’s landscapes to prevent rapid biodiversity loss.

Lindsey holds a bachelor of science degree in ecosystem management and volunteered with NCC for a few years.

She enjoys hiking, birdwatching, gardening and taking care of her many pets. Her favourite species is mountain goat.
