Hashveenah Manoharan

Hashveenah Manoharan is a summer 2021 conservation technician for the Nature Conservancy of Canada working out of Pelee Island, Ontario. She has a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies from the University of Waterloo and is passionate about the social dynamics of conservation, especially in urban-wildlife interfaces. Her interest in ecological restoration began in the Rouge Park in Toronto and has taken her across the province working on species at risk management and restoration projects. She enjoys painting, drawing, woodburning, crocheting and admiring her pet snake, Juniper.
