Kara Baker

Kara Baker is a conservation technician with the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) during the summer of 2022. She was born in raised in Regina, Saskatchewan and spent some time living in Saskatoon, SK and the Netherlands. After trying out different career paths in administrative work and the hospitality industry, she recently completed her bachelor of science in biology with the hopes of spending more time outdoors.

Kara enjoys getting outside, camping, boating, and skiing and becomes more involved in her music hobby in the winter months. She’s enjoyed her summer with the NCC and feels proud to have been able to contribute to NCC’s noble mission of conserving natural land.
