Katie Bell

Katie Bell is the conservation information coordinator with the Nature Conservancy of Canada's (NCC's) British Columbia Region. She has a bachelor of science (zoology – University of Guelph) and master's of science (biology – University of Victoria – studying garter snakes in Saanich Parks). Before joining NCC, she worked at Coastal Douglas-fir and Associated Ecosystems Conservation Partnership, Habitat Acquisition Trust, Capital Regional District Regional Park and the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Strategy Ecosystem Information Section.

Outside of work, she enjoys basking in the sunshine and going for beach walks, camping and hiking with friends, and doing yoga and pottery.
