Sue Van Slooten

Sue lives on the Rideau Canal, Big Rideau Lake, Rideau Lakes Township, Ontario with her husband Bob, dog, lizard and fish. Her educational background includes a BA in anthropology, with a minor in archaeology, an AA in Music (with Highest Honours) and a Certificate from St. Lawrence College in Sustainable Food, with Distinction. She has owned and operated a B&B in this location, and teaches baking and cooking skills. She also blogs for Mother Earth News on real food.

Her interests include gardening, bird watching and anything food. A new camera is affording the opportunity to photograph birds, animals, and when permitted, the dog.
