AnnLisa Jensen

AnnLisa Jensen is the Indigenous conservation program manager for the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) in Alberta. In her role, she focuses on building meaningful relationships with Indigenous Nations, communities and organizations, while supporting Indigenous-led conservation initiatives and facilitating cultural awareness and engagement opportunities for regional staff, with a dedicated commitment to reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples.

For several years, AnnLisa was an NCC Alberta Regional Board member, transitioning into this new role in May 2022. A member of the Métis Nation of Alberta, her career has been dedicated to local government both as an elected official and administrator, with experience in various areas such as Indigenous relations, economic development, culture, environment and sustainability.

AnnLisa spends her free time reading, enjoying the outdoors and hanging out with her family and dog, Cash.
