Joe Poissant

Joe Poissant has almost a decade of experience working with bats, starting in his undergraduate studies as a field assistant to several masters students doing research in Nova Scotia and PEI. His honours work examined parasites on bats swarming at a cave in Nova Scotia, and his masters research determined roost use by the tricolored bat in Kejimkujik National Park. He has since done a lot of acoustic surveys for the Ministry of the Environment in Saskatchewan and more recently for the Nature Conservancy of Canada.
